Wellsite Geologist is the representative of Company on site/well cluster, who is to supervise drilling operations on day-to-day basis to ensure they are conducted in accordance with approved drilling Program and in compliance with the applicable Company Policies/Standards, good oilfield practice within the allocated time/cost with optimal use of resources.
Requirements
Degree in oil and gas geology.
At least 5 years of work experience in oil and gas industry.
At least 2 years work experience as Well Site Geologist in international service companies.
Experience of managing drilling problems such as mud losses (including total losses), stuck pipe, pack-off.
Experience in Wireline/LWD/MWD operations including on-site stratigraphic correlation (based on cuttings, well logs etc.).
Experience in coring operations including on-site core description.
Experience of working in multicultural environment to be open and transparent communicator in diverse multidiscipline team.
Wellsite Safety management.
Technical requirements to operations.
Competence in IT, with the ability to use standard office programs and specialized geological software.
Effective communication skills (oral & written) in English.
